DESCRIPTION
On the half-day tour you will gain memories visiting following attractions and who knows maybe also Archaic Greek poet Sappho who lived and composed here was walking on the same path:
- taking a light walk to reach local waterfalls through stunning nature surrounded with small lagoons
- after beautiful sightseeing of wild nature, passing through wine and lentils fields to showing you one of the best spots of the island with breathtaking panoramic view to abandoned U. S. radar, look to the former island of Scorpios of Onassis family, here also located a small Greek church of Profitis Ilias with typical white and blue colours
- taking a ''coffee break" in the charming small village Egkluvi where time has stopped to drink a typical Greek coffee or ouzo and taste local cuisine in a traditional taverna, sit under Platan tree - natural air-condition
- stopping by in another charming village Karya and travelling back in time by visiting interactive folklore museum
- and "the cherry on the cake" - strolling in the alleys of Lefkada town, the island's capital
TRANSPORTATION
You'll enjoy your day trip with the guide and the driver being the same person, being transported from one spot to another by car. Transportation is provided with a rental, modern air-conditioned car, comfortable up to 3 passengers excluding the driver.
